Description Pale amber in the glass, this is an intriguing and characterful wine with aromas of tea leaf, orange peel and stone fruit. Smooth on the palate with a long, citrus-driven finish. A great introduction to orange wine for the curious, and a natural match for spiced dishes, soft and washed-rind cheeses, charcuterie or simply on its own as an aperitif. Sanzo is made in Rueda, the denominación in Castilla y León best known for its fresh, aromatic Verdejos. This skin-contact version takes a different path, cold soaking for 7 days before spending a month on its skins, drawing out the amber colour, texture and the layers of flavour that set it apart from a conventional white. Grape: Verdejo. DO Rueda. Cold soaked for 7 days, then fermented and macerated on skins for 1 month. 12% / 75CL
