Description The 280/64 Chromonica 64 is an extended version of the 270/48 Super Chromonica, having an extra octave below middle C which, when played in the lower register, gives a more mellow tone. The comb on this chromatic is plastic and the mouthpiece holes are round, as opposed to the square holes and wooden comb on the 260/40 and 270/48 versions. The slide has a smooth action and the cover plates are of polished stainless steel. The extra lower octave adds that extra playing dimension and range, as favoured by many players, including Stevie Wonder.
