Description The GORE-TEX Membrane The secret of GORE-TEX products lies within the revolutionary bi-component membrane; both completely waterproof and completely breathable at the same time. The membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in its liquid form cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, as moisture vapor it can easily escape. The patented GORE-TEX® membrane makes garments durably waterproof, windproof and breathable so that you stay dry and comfortable. Lorica Lorica is a man-made material that is lighter than leather. It is both breathable and water-repellent, however, it does not retain foot odours. As well as being tough and resistant to scratches, Lorica conforms to the shape of the foot like leather without the shoe having to be ‘broken in’. Sidi Heel Cup A reinforced Heel cup for stability and support on sprints and climbs. The Sidi Heel cup holds your foot securely in the correct position in all points of the pedal stroke with an external cup that braces the shoe against prolonged pressure. Put your foot on top of the paper with your heel firmly against the wall. Make a mark on the paper at the end of your big toe. Measure from the end of the paper to the line you have drawn. If you have measured correctly, you will have an accurate foot length in millimeters. Repeating the steps a few times will allow you to be sure you have measured correctly. The length in millimeters on the size chart refers to the size of the last used, so if your foot length falls between sizes, be sure to size up rather than down.
