Description The legendary Maxxis High Roller tyre is back with a brand new hybrid tread design, but with the same winning methods! Developed with the help of World Cup athletes, this third generation is designed to cope with mixed conditions at high speed. The central tread employs a medium-toe design similar to that of the Shorty, but with a lower lug height. These lugs provide excellent ground penetration in soft, loose or dusty conditions, while remaining stable enough to avoid squirming on hard surfaces. Cornering traction is enhanced by large, well-supported side lugs for predictable handling. The High Roller III sits in the Maxxis Gravity range between the Assegai and the Shorty. The High Roller’s widely-spaced tread eliminates debris better than the Assegai and it performs better in drier conditions than the Shorty. These features make the High Roller a versatile choice when conditions are soft or loose, but don’t quite justify a mud stud.
