DescriptionMarco Jian was born in Yulin, Guangxi . As a child he would take apart folk instruments to figure out how their sound worked. He apprenticed in violin making and in his early 20’s he began his study under Mr. He, one of the most renowned violin makers in all of China. After years of putting his heart and soul into intensive study, he began producing master-level violins that were described as “more powerful than his imagination”. Jian’s violins are sought after by professional violinists around the world, including the US, Europe, and Asia. Hand-carved from fine personally selected woods, his violins are known for their beautiful varnish and their stunning sound.
