I purchased this for my 12 year old daughter who has been playing violin for two years. She carries it daily to middle school (almost a mile to and from the bus stop) and it protects her 3/4 violin and bow without issues. It also has the capability to hold a full violin and four bows total. It is beautifully lined and has two very roomy compartments which allow her to store her rosin, shoulder rest and tuner and still have space to spare. There is a pouch outside the case that zips closed and allows for books to be carried as well.The only quirk is the key. It doesn’t work well (hard to unlock and lock easily), so we don’t really use it. If you are looking for a case that locks and unlocks easily, this is not your choice. But if you are looking for protection, lots of space, ease of carry, this is the case for you.
